Call to Action Online - Mother's Day

Share Your Mother’s Day Stories with NBCC

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12, and starting today, the National Breast Cancer Coalition is celebrating and honoring mothers by asking you—our advocates—to tell your stories about how your moms have inspired you to "do good" in the fight to end breast cancer for the greater good of humanity. To broaden the reach of this campaign, we’re asking you to take some quick, but specific, actions using social media.

Visit our Facebook page ( every day starting today for videos, badges and photos you can share quickly on your personal timeline—just click share. Post photos of your mom and in the caption, tell us how she’s inspired you to become an advocate in support of Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®. If you’re feeling inspired, shoot a video and post it to your timeline and share it on ours.

Share your stories on Twitter, too. If you want to make sure NBCC sees your tweet, include our handle—@Deadline2020―in your post. You’ll also want to use the hashtag #MotherGood. Just like Facebook, we want you to post photos, statements and videos about how your mother inspired you—don’t forget you’re limited to 140 characters on Twitter, which includes spaces, links and the hashtag #MotherGood. Retweet what NBCC posts during the campaign, which will run through May 12.

There are so many ways to honor your mother on Mother’s Day. This year we encourage you to tell the world how your mom’s #MotherGood inspired you to do good for the fight against breast cancer.

Make sure to follow us on social media―again, or You can also check our Mother’s Day page for more ideas on how to celebrate your mother and support Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® at
