Attention Project LEAD Grads!

Are you attending the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium this year? If so, be sure to register for NBCC’s Project LEAD Advanced Topics Session, being held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 8:00am – 11:30am in Salon I of the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

This year’s agenda includes “Immunology Overview and the Mechanisms of Immune Evasion in the Breast Tumor Microenvironment" by Dr. Jennifer Guerriero of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, as well as a talk on the "Current Breast Cancer Immunotherapy Landscape" by Dr. Kim Lyerly of Duke University. The program will also feature presentations from NBCC advocates about their perspective on vaccine trials, as well as plenty of time for Q & A with the researchers.

This event is for Project LEAD graduates only. Registration is free and breakfast and lunch will be included.

Les Girls Cabaret and New York Gala

We had the opportunity to honor some of our leaders and major supporters at recent events. In Los Angeles, at our 19th annual cabaret, we were pleased to honor Cindy Harrell-Horn for her advocacy and strong support of social justice issues, including ending breast cancer. If you missed the event, you can still make a donation by clicking here.

In New York on October 20, our grassroots advocates, Dale Eastman and Valencia Robinson, were acknowledged at our annual Gala, and Devika Bulchandani, President of McCann New York received our leadership award. You can still make a donation by clicking here.

Making an Impact

Want to give more, but unsure how? Consider a recurring, automatic donation via your credit card or bank account. Scheduled donations actually allow NBCC to plan its efforts more strategically, as it knows when guaranteed funding will arrive. Click here to sign up.

Thanks to the generosity of the Joyce and Irving Goldman Family Foundation, every gift received by the end of the year will be doubled by the Joyce Goldman Matching Fund - up to $100,000.
