Lobby Day Briefing Palladian Ballroom
If you are planning to attend Lobby Day, this briefing will provide you with the appropriate information and tools to effectively lobby your Members of Congress. Attending a Lobby Day Briefing is mandatory for anyone participating in NBCC’s Lobby Day on Capitol Hill. NBCC’s Legislative
priorities and lobbying strategies are discussed.

7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Luggage Drop Off
NBCC has arranged for a valet service to receive luggage and transport it to the United Methodist Building, 1 Maryland Avenue, NE (next to the ROA Building). Participants departing Washington D.C. from Capitol Hill who need to have their luggage transported to the United Methodist Building should
take it to Palladian Ballroom prior to boarding the bus. **If you will be departing from Capitol Hill and need your luggage before noon, you must transport it yourself!

8:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Buses Depart to Capitol Hill for the Day
Starting at 8:00 a.m., buses will take Lobby Day participants from the hotel to Capitol Hill. The Capitol Hill drop-off location is Peace Circle (see map on Lobby Day flyer) located on the west side of the U.S. Capitol. NBCC has reserved space in the Reserve Officers Association (ROA) Building, 1 Constitution Avenue, NE, for the entire day, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Congressional Visits Capitol Hill
Put your advocacy skills to work on Capitol Hill! NBCC advocates will visit members of Congress and urge them to support NBCC’s legislative priorities.

12:30 PM – 6:45 PM
Luggage transported by the valet service can be retrieved between 12:30 PM and6:45 PM. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR LUGGAGE BY 6:45 p.m.

4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Congressional Awards Reception
