Meet NBCC’s New Chief Communications and Advancement Officer, Lisa McDonald

Lisa McDonald joined NBCC as the Chief Communications and Advancement Officer in late January and brings to NBCC more than 25 years of experience in healthcare communications, marketing, and fundraising. Most recently, Lisa served as a Vice President at the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions where she managed marketing, media relations, digital communications, social media, and event promotions. As a Vice President at Reingold, she supervised client accounts and managed the media relations team for a strategic communications firm serving national non-profits, medical societies, and federal government clients. Having served as the Director of Marketing at George Washington University Hospital for more than 16 years, Lisa helped launch and promote the GW Breast Imaging and GW Breast Surgery Centers and earned more than 75 awards for advertising campaigns, publications, websites, and videos. “Breast cancer runs in my family and I am looking forward to meeting the many NBCC advocates and researchers that are dedicated to putting an end to breast cancer.”

2020 Project LEAD Institute – Applications Now Open
