Keep Contacting Your Representatives and Senators and ask them to Support the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act
As you know, one of NBCC’s highest legislative priorities this year is the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act H.R. 2178/S.1374, legislation to waive the 24 month waiting period for Medicare eligibility and the 5 month waiting period for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits for individuals with metastatic breast cancer who qualify for social security disability.
Thanks to the hardwork of NBCC advocates there are currently 98 cosponsors on H.R. 2178 and 7 cosponsors on S. 1374. Keep contacting your Members and asking them to sign on to support this important legislation.
