The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) was saddened to learn of the passing of Congressman Don McEachin.
We are grateful for Representative McEachin’s longstanding commitment to NBCC’s mission to end breast cancer and our partnership with him to ensure high-quality, affordable healthcare for all individuals.
We will miss his leadership as NBCC has had a long, close relationship with the Congressman and his helpful and supportive staff.
NBCC appreciates Congressman McEachin’s unwavering support of the Coalition’s legislative and public policy agenda. He steadfastly supported full funding for the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Breast Cancer Research Program, an issue that remains one of NBCC’s
highest legislative priorities. Congressman McEachin was always a leader and friend regarding our shared mission to ensure meaningful system change, transparency, and oversight on all issues affecting breast cancer.
The National Breast Cancer Coalition and the country have lost a true leader and a friend with the passing of Congressman McEachin. Our condolences go to his family and to all who admired him. He will be deeply missed.
