Yesterday, the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) participated in a Day of Action: Protecting Science and Innovation, joining organizations across the academic, scientific, and medical research worlds to protect the integrity of science and the American institutions that power it.
NBCC advocate, board vice president, and Virginia state field coordinator Marylinn Minor joined Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ), former Senator and NASA administrator Bill Nelson (D-FL), former acting director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Dr. Alondra Nelson, founder and executive director of Stand Up for Science Colette Delawalla, and president of the Union of Concerned Scientists Gretchen Goldman to urge Congress to protect the science that saves lives.
