This year, an estimated 42,250 women and 530 men in the United States will die of breast cancer. When it comes to ending breast cancer and saving lives, “awareness” clearly is not enough.
To stop people from getting and dying from the disease, we need systems change. We need action. We must make our voices heard and challenge our current and future elected officials to take action to end this disease. In this historic election year, it has never been more important to speak out.
