Webinar: Beyond Measuring Quality of Life in Cancer Trials: Making Results Meaningful for Patients

November 13, 2026, 11 AM EDT
Virtual

Quality of life is increasingly measured in cancer clinical trials—but are the results reported in ways that actually help patients make treatment decisions? Patients want to know not only whether a treatment affects quality of life on average, but what their chances are of feeling better or worse, how treatment may affect their daily functioning, and how long those effects might last. These questions are important in both metastatic and adjuvant settings, where patients may be weighing different potential benefits and burdens of treatment. Join Madeline Pe, PhD; Ian Tannock, MD, PhD; and Michael Brundage, MSc, MD for a high-level discussion of how quality-of-life outcomes can be measured and reported in ways that are more meaningful to patients and clinicians. Brief presentations will be followed by panel discussion and audience Q&A.
