Let’s “Get to 290” Cosponsors and Pass the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act

Metastatic breast cancer patients can’t wait for the benefits they’re entitled to, which is why we must pass the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act (MBCACA) this year.

Let’s get to 290 cosponsors before the end of this Congress. Reaching 290 will show significant political momentum in the House of Representatives and can open new pathways to advance the bill and bring us closer to passing it.

Here’s how you can join this urgent movement now:

• Use NBCC’s Action Center to contact your representative. The Action Center will guide you in crafting a message to urge them to sign on if they haven’t cosponsored, or thank them for their support and ask them to help get the bill across the finish line this year.
• Get inspired by the personal stories of those who have been affected by waiting periods for Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare.
• Read NBCC’s advocates’ powerful letters to their local media outlets to publicly push their elected officials to support the MBCACA.
