The National Breast Cancer Coalition’s Advocate Leadership Summit is designed for both aspiring and seasoned breast cancer advocates—including oncology nurses and other members of the oncology heathcare and research communities—eager to drive change across public policy, research, and clinical trials.
This event equips you with the tools, insights, and mentorship needed to launch or elevate your advocacy career, whether you’re interested in influencing public policy and legislative efforts, collaborating on innovative breast cancer research, or working to improve the design of and access to clinical trials.
Join us to gain expert knowledge, engage in dynamic discussions, and forge valuable partnerships that will empower you to make a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.

Saturday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm (Pre-conference Project LEAD Grad session from 12:45pm – 2:30pm)
Sunday: 8:00am – 6:15pm
Monday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday: Lobby Day 8:30am – 5:30pm

Stand up for breast cancer priorities! Join NBCC advocates, members of Congress, and others on Capitol Hill to support science, research, health care, and policies to end breast cancer.
If you bring a new attendee,* both of you will receive $50 off your $350 Summit registration, for a final cost of $300 each.
Please note that if you have already registered at the full price, your rate cannot be adjusted to the buddy rate.
*New attendees are classified as those who have NOT attended a Leadership Summit since 2013. Anyone who attended the NBCC conference in 2012 or earlier qualifies for the discount.

Current NBCC members are eligible to apply for scholarships to help defray the costs of Summit travel, hotel, or registration.
Scholarship applications are now closed.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by Monday, March 17, 2025.
Participants must make their own hotel arrangements. The Park Hyatt hotel rate for the 2025 Advocate Leadership Summit is $299 per night + tax.
Hotel Discount Available: To help defray some of the cost of attending the Summit, NBCC is covering $50/night for each hotel room booked through the NBCC block at the Park Hyatt. The discount will result in a reduced hotel rate for the Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights while attending the Summit (May 2, 3, 4, & 5). The discount will reduce the rate from $299/night to $249/night + tax for Summit attendees.
