Today, the House Democratic Women’s Caucus endorsed the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act (H.R. 549), legislation that will eliminate waiting periods for federal disability insurance benefits and Medicare coverage for those undergoing treatment for metastatic breast cancer and a major legislative priority for the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) and our advocates.
NBCC is proud that most members of the Caucus have cosponsored the bill, and looks forward to working with them to ensure the bill passes this year.
